Julep - The Paradise Collection - April 2015 Review

Its time for another Julep Box Review. I had my whole box changed several times as the options were too much tempting. Finally I upgraded to the full Paradise Collection box - with 9 Paradise Colors for $45 instead of the usual three color box.

Below is the Julep Paradise Collection Box:

I also got a free product - The Luxe Lip Treatment in Coral.
This has such a smooth finish and also gives a full lip plump feel.

Colors from left to right:

* Addison - Tart lemon crème.. Pale Yellow Color. Felt like i needed to do more than 2 coats for a very smooth opaque finish. My least favorite out of the whole lot.

* Jenna - Tangerine burst crème.. Like a deep Vermilion. I really like this color and it reminds me of the Orange Creme Icecream :)

* April - Vermillion crème.. Its more like a reddish orange..

* Drew - Fabulous fuchsia crème.. A very dark pink and this too gives a smooth finish.

(Excuse the bad cuticles & bad finish :P)

* Randi - Pink plumeria crème.. A deep pink sugar candy color This has a very smooth finish & also lasts longer.

* Connie - Hot magenta plum crème.. This takes more coats to be opaque but make sure that the previous coat is completely dried before applying the 2nd coat. Else it gets bunched up and looks blotched.. But if you do it right, this shade is so lovely that you probably don't want to change the color.

* Danica - Blue violet iridescent chrome.. This is a mix between a deep violet & dark ink blue. This is a very transparent color and will need more than 2-3 coats to stay atleast a week.

* Danielle - Cerulean wave duochrome.. This is an awesome Mermaid shimmer blue. It has a beautiful jewel tone & my favorite color out of this box.

* Cassidy - Bondi blue crème.. This is a very smooth greenish blue.

So what do you think of the paradise collection.?? Which one is your favorite.. Let me know in the comments.

  7. I love all the colors. I haven't really gotten into the beauty subscription boxes yet. This one looks like a lot of fun. I wish I had the patience for nail art. I love the pop of color.

    1. Nail art is just random & due to boredom :P You can just do the plain colors and there are several in Julep that gives you a different finish like sparkles, polka dots, etc

  8. I love these colors! I normally stick to a french manicure and i'm not a huge fan of colored nail polish on my nails, but these colors are so awesome it makes me want to try them out. I may have to get some of these and do colored tips!

  9. These are really beautiful colors - these 'warm' vibrant colors are just the type I usually go for when I am looking for fingernail polish because they are so much fun and are a wardrobe accessory all to themselves. I have been seeing the ads for Julep everywhere but have never ordered them because I wasn't sure of the quality of their polish. Thanks for posting -- I'm on my way to order a subscription box now! Got to get these toenails ready for summer!

  10. Wow! These colors are beautiful. I have to admit, Julep has some really good polish and colors. It's a bit pricey at times, but if I have the extra cash, I will splurge. I LOVE the Paradise collection. The colors look great!
