Lip Monthly - February 2015 Bag Review

I know I'm a tad bit late (may be more :P) in reviewing the Lip Monthly February bag. A couple of reasons. One being the bag itself was late last month. I got it around 25th which is more than a week delay, usually I get it around 15th. Second, my kid was rummaging around my stuff  & apparently she liked the bag color, so she kept it along with her toys in her toy basket. Since I couldn't find it in a frantic search, I had not paid much attention to it.. Enough said.. Lets see the bag & the contents.

* So Susan Lip Dome (Black Currant) (Full Size - $10): This is a really long lasting lip product - kinda a hybrid between plumping lip tint and a lip crayon. 

 I just learned that So Susan now has its own subscription called Lip Love.

*Be a Bombshell Lipgloss (Hooked) (Full Size - $13): This shade is a dark mauve with a light shimmer. I’ve tried  Be a Bombshell glosses earlier and its really buttery smooth and not sticky. I have the same color in other brands, so this might end up in the giveaway pile. 

* Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain (Deluxe - Approx $16 - The item card says $25): This works for both cheeks and lips and has colors that will flatter any complexion. This is claimed to have a 12 hour lasting effect. Powered by a vegetable-derived Ceramide Complex to help keep skin moisturized & enhance skin elasticity, and Wild Rose Wax which helps heal chapped & dry lips. I didn’t realize it until now, but Jelly Pong Pong and So Susan are related companies.   

*Cargo Cosmetics Eye Shadow Single (Flint) (Full Size - $16): This is my first eye shadow from Cargo, but I really like the packaging. The colour is described as a greyish brown matte, but it just looks like a dark grey to me. I usually like eye-shadow palette rather than single shadow.. just due to convenience and also I usually mix up a couple of shades.

Overall, this bag is such a value (more than $55), which is pretty amazing for a $10 bag.
